Regardless of whether a pharmaceutical or nutraceutical grade is required, AquaPolish® E can be formulated with the appropriate polymers (acrylic acid copolymer, HPMC AS or sodium alginate), coloring additives and additional excipients. It provides a protective film with excellent enteric properties. The solubility of the ready-to-use film coating begins at a pH of > 5.5 and thus dissolves in the intestine.
Formulations can be used for pharmaceutical products and for nutritional or dietary supplements.
